I’ve been keeping a close eye on Glossier (I’m talkin’ creep watching high school girls by a bus stop kinda close) and as the old saying goes – you always want what you can’t have. Unfortunately, Glossier doesn’t yet ship to Australia, so when one of my besties headed over to the UK, I was over the fricken moon to lodge a sizeable order for her to bring back for me.
Yay to love, yay to marriage, yay to my friends honeymooning in the US and bringing me back allllll the cheap make-up!
When the New Year rolls around, I like to use my post holiday energy to refocus and get started on some goals for the year. One of these goals (okay, okay – for the last few years. Woops!) is to declutter. Because living in a space filled with loads o’ crap just ain’t a fun time!
You know the drill…here’s what I’ve been loving since, you know, my last post about what I’ve been loving.
A trip to the US means two things: a boatload of burgers and a frenzied trip to Sephora. Considering I went a little over the top in the make-up department during our Hawaii trip earlier this year, I decided to keep it fairly (read as ‘painfully’) restrained during this Sephora sesh. I did however manage to pick up some gems which I’ve been loving since my return. Here’s a little run down of my new loot:

- The Anti-Cool Girl by Rosie Waterland – Currently reading (and loving!) this novel by Aussie gal Rosie Waterland. A gritty memoir of Rosie’s childhood with substance addicted parents, right through to her own issues with depression and eating disorders. Surprisingly giggle inducing given the tough content and I’m now convinced her new stand-up show must be a total riot. *BRB purchasing tickets.* Continue reading
