I’m heavy handed when it comes to New Year goals. I’m like that friend who pours you a vodka, soda, lime and the glass is over half full before they get to the soda. Soz about it! Do I need like 30 goals every year? Proooobably not. But in the first week of Jan, when possibilities feel endless, why not set your self up for some character building failure? Just kidding!
The weather here is colder than your ex-girlfriend’s heart, so here’s a list of things I’ve been loving in the colder months. Snuggle up with an energy efficient heater and a cup of organic Matcha and enjoy!
My obsession with overpriced eggs continues with my latest brunch locaish, Eire Café. Located on Springbank Rd in Clapham, this place is hidden away from all the breakfast/brunch hubbub of the city and beach. So you’ve hit a nice little relationship groove. You’re comfortable. You’re content. You’re able to serve up a hefty air biscuit without complete mortification. That’s great! I’m happy for you. But please, I beg of you, don’t let the increased comfort levels lead to spending every night at home with your loved one; picking your toenails and watching Stranger Things (sometimes it’s okay though because that show is the bomb DOT com).
I’ve been cooking up a weather disturbance lately and churning out recipes from my fav healthy cookbooks. I try to keep my cooking on the healthier side so when I dine out, I don’t feel guilty about going all out! What can I say? I prefer my carbs served in a wheelbarrow as opposed to a tiny plate. So here’s a lil’ list of my favourite healthy recipes which I’ve been loving recently.
My New Year’s Resoloosh was to cook more and eat healthier. Yes, I know, painfully unoriginal but when your Domino’s app gets as much of a work out as mine, a resolution is the call to action one needs to make a change.
