Things I Loved in January

I love me some January with the smell of ‘fresh start’ in the air. The weather’s uplifting, your energy is renewed and you feel like you CAN loose those extra 5 kg’s AND find the man of your dreams with time left over to start that pottery class you’ve always wanted to do. So let’s take a minute to send some props to January because it really does treat us with respect, like a one night stand who offers to drop you home in the morning. My Goals for 2018.

I’m heavy handed when it comes to New Year goals. I’m like that friend who pours you a vodka, soda, lime and the glass is over half full before they get to the soda. Soz about it! Do I need like 30 goals every year? Proooobably not. Appetites Cookbook by Anthony Bourdain – Anthony Bourdain is undoubtedly one of my top culinary crushes. He’s a cool dude with a no bullshit approach to preparing a dish and I was super excited at the prospect of him releasing his first cookbook in 10 years. We tried his spag bol recipe a few weeks back and it was a total winner.  I know I’m going to be hitting this cookbook up on the reg!
