New Products On My Radar.

So I was lucky enough to get a few bits-and-bobs sent to me from the lady behind Miss Pearl – an online store focused on products suited to allergy prone, sensitive skin.

I’m talkin’ beauty items, skincare saviours and products that will get yo’ house looking spic-n-span. One of the reasons I really like this website is the ‘Lifestyle’ heading which  provides the opportunity to filter the products through categories like “I’m paraben free” or “I am vegan” so it’s super easy to find exactly what you’re after.

My faaaaaav product from this loot had to be the Pure Konjac Sponge AKA Spud Sponge. This cleansing sponge is made from Konjac, a 100% vegetable fibre. Okay so no surprises there but what I did find surprising is just how good it makes my skin feel! The sponge is slightly alkaline so it’s perfect for cleansing all on its own or with a few squirts of your favourite cleanser. My face has been loving this addition to the ol’ skincare routine and leaves it feeling bright and buffed after I’m done.

I’m also totally digging the W3ll People Hypnotist Mineral Eye-pencil in Black Velvet. In my continued failed mission to master a cat eye I completely forgot all about the classic eye-liner pencil and I’m pleased I was reminded of the the sexy smudged-out smoky look you can achieve with it. Sultry levels high.

I’ve gotta admit I was a little let down by the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Tannin. The colour was a total stunner and y’all know I love a vampy red but it was a touch too slip-n-slide on the lips for me and didn’t have the stay power I expected. I think I need a more matte finish for a low maintenance pout.

So there you have it, the products were pretty great overall and I’m feeling the whole ethos behind the site.  It’s a tick from this girl.

Until next time… That’s what she said.
